Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 5, 2026
This policy explains what information blackgirlmagician.com (“we,” “us” — the website of Nicole Cardoza) collects when you visit, and how we use it. We keep this simple because our data practices are simple: we collect only what we need to run the site and respond to you.
Information you give us
When you fill out a contact, booking, or newsletter form, you share details like your name, email address, a possible event date, and your message. We use this only to respond to your inquiry, discuss a booking, or send you the updates you asked for. Form submissions are delivered to our team by email (via our email provider, Resend). We don’t sell this information or use it for advertising.
Information collected automatically
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site — things like which pages are viewed and roughly where visits come from. This helps us improve the site. We’ve enabled IP anonymization, and analytics cookies are not set until you click “Accept” on our cookie banner. If you decline, Google Analytics runs in a limited, cookieless mode.
Our host, Cloudflare, may also process standard technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) to serve and secure the site.
Cookies & your choices
- We only set analytics cookies after you accept them. You can decline at any time.
- Your consent choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage so we don’t ask again on every visit.
- You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings at any point to reset your choice, or use your browser’s “do not track” and cookie controls.
Third parties we use
- Google Analytics — website traffic measurement (only with consent).
- Cloudflare — website hosting and security.
- Resend — delivering form submissions to our inbox by email.
- Google Fonts — serving the site’s typefaces.
The site also links out to other places (for example, the Magically Me shop and social media). Once you follow a link away from this site, this policy no longer applies — please review those sites’ own policies.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, request a copy, or ask us to delete it. To make a request — or if you have any questions about your privacy — email sophia@nysm.agency and we’ll help.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change, we’ll update this page and revise the “last updated” date above.
This is a plain-language summary of how the site handles data and is provided for transparency, not as legal advice. If you have specific legal obligations for your audience or region, consider having a professional review it.
